Returning on-air talents join John Morgan on call for Friday's event at Tampa's Florida State Fairgrounds.

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC) officials are pleased to confirm the return of a pair of familiar faces to the broadcast booth, as CM Punk and Michelle Waterson-Gomez will rejoin the team for "CFFC 144: Norton vs. Martins 2" on Friday, July 18.

Punk and "The Karate Hottie" will work alongside CFFC General Manager and longtime MMA journalist John Morgan on the call, which streams live on UFC FIGHT PASS from Tampa's Florida State Fairgrounds.

Punk has been a fixture on CFFC broadcasts since his debut for the promotion in 2018, balancing his time on the mic with his work as a professional wrestling superstar for both World Wrestling Entertainment and All Elite Wrestling. He returns to his post for the first time since this past December's CFFC 138 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The event also marks Punk's first appearance in Florida for the promotion since CFFC 130 in March 2024.

Meanwhile, Waterson-Gomez made her commentary debut for the promotion at June's CFFC 143 event in New Town, North Dakota. After much praise for her performance, the recently retired longtime UFC contender returns to CFFC for the organization's second straight event.

"CM Punk is incredibly busy, but he is a valued part of the CFFC family, and given his passion for this sport, we're happy to have him join us anytime he can find a break in his schedule," CFFC CEO Rob Haydak said. "But we were also so pleased to have Michelle join our team this past month that we didn't want to miss an opportunity to have her back, as well, so we'll welcome them both to Tampa for CFFC 144 and what should be another night of incredible action in Florida."

"CFFC 144: Norton vs. Martins 2" features an intriguing championship rematch as reigning women's bantamweight titleholder Auttumn "The Natural" Norton (4-2 MMA, 1-0 CFFC) takes on the woman she beat to earn the belt, Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace Emily "Galega" Martins (3-1 MMA, 3-1 CFFC). Meanwhile, the night's co-main event features vacant bantamweight gold on the line, as Cuban standout Sean Mora (6-1 MMA, 0-0 CFFC) takes on former CFFC NextGen champion Mark Grey (7-1 MMA, 5-1 CFFC).
